What materials and cookware can I use in BRISK?

BRISK works with most oven-safe items such as parchment or butter paper, borosilicate glass, silicone moulds, ceramic bowls, and non-stick or metal baking tins. They only need to handle up to 300°C. Make sure the items fit properly inside and do not touch the top heating area. Nuuk ProTip: Light tins and silicone moulds cook more evenly and are easier to clean.

Can the touch display work if my hands are wet?

Yes, the touch panel works like a phone screen and responds even if your fingers are slightly wet. It is still better to dry your hands first to protect the screen!

Do I need to preheat before cooking?

No, you don't always need to preheat! Since BRISK heats up super fast, you're good to go and can start cooking your meals right away. The only time you'll need to preheat is if you're tossing in something frozen or if the recipe specifically asks for it.

Can I change the temperature manually while using presets?

Yes, you can adjust time and temperature anytime, even when a preset is running. Presets are only easy starting points. You can always stay in full control.

Are the basket and tray dishwasher safe?

Yes, both are dishwasher safe but keep in mind that they're both ceramic coated and need to be delicately cleaned! To keep them looking great for the long haul, we recommend using a soft sponge and mild soap. It's much gentler than harsh scrubbers and helps protect that beautiful finish.

How does BRISK cook food evenly?

BRISK cooks everything evenly with its powerful 360-degree Rapid Airflow System. Placing your food on the crisper tray, guarantees hot air hitting every side for a genuinely even cook. Plus, for presets over 10 minutes, the built-in shake alarm will remind you exactly when to toss your food for that ultimate crispy finish!

There is food splatter on the inside of BRISK (besides the basket and tray). How do I clean it?

Let BRISK cool completely and unplug it. Wipe the inside gently with a soft, damp cloth. Do not spray water directly inside, and do not use metal tools near the heating area or fan.

The fan keeps running after I pause or remove the basket. Is that normal?

Yes, this is normal. The heat shuts off immediately but the fan continues for about a minute to cool the appliance.

Why does BRISK use aluminium instead of steel or iron?

We chose Aluminum for several reasons! Aluminum is the best heat conductor. This is key because it doesn't just get hot; it spreads that heat super evenly across the entire surface, which eliminates cold spots. This ensures every part of your food cooks consistently, helping your BRISK work faster and more efficiently. It's naturally much lighter than steel or iron. This makes the basket easy to pull out and handle while you're cooking or cleaning. Finally, aluminum forms a stronger, more durable bond with our premium ceramic coating. This helps prolong the life of the non-stick finish and keeps your basket easy to clean for a long time.

What is ILAG and why is it special?

ILAG is a premium, high-quality Swiss ceramic coating, it's essentially the highest standard of coating you can get! What makes it truly special is that it’s completely free from all the bad stuff you don't want near your food, that includes PTFE, PFAS, PFOA, Lead, and Cadmium.
